Hi! My name is Tonya and crochet is my passion. I am so happy you found your way to my little corner of the internet. I have debated a long time about starting a crochet blog. There are so many out there already that I was always so unsure if there was space for me. However, I have recently come to the conclusion that I just need to make space for myself and if people are interested in what I have to say I will consider that a bonus.

I am not going to dive into an autobiography right now, but I will say that my love of crochet started in 2012 when I was preparing for my wedding. I really wanted to make something myself so I first tried knitting. My mother-in-law is an amazing knitter and I wanted to try.

It did not work out.

So I tried again with crochet. I found a crochet hook, yarn, and a YouTube video. Thirty minutes later I was holding a flower in my hand. And thus began my obsession passion for crochet.

I make a wide variety of items; hats, shawls, tablecloths, sweaters, baby toys…but my favorite is amigurumi (stuffed animals). I have even written my very first original pattern that will be releasing soon.
